The Role
As an Accounts Semi Senior, you’ll support managers and seniors with a varied client portfolio, gaining hands-on exposure to accounts, tax, and advisory work. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and build strong client relationships in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping
- Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
- Supporting the audit team on ad hoc assignments (if desired)
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Assisting with VAT returns and resolving client queries
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
About You
- Experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Confident using cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious, detail-driven, and eager to progress
