This established accountancy practice in Chester is growing and looking to bring in a Tax Senior to strengthen their team. It’s a firm that genuinely invests in its people, not just with training, but with flexibility, progression and a proper work/life balance.
The role:
You’ll be working across a varied portfolio of clients, handling both compliance and advisory work. Plenty of client interaction, and the opportunity to get involved in more complex planning work as you progress.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns
- Supporting on tax planning and advisory projects
- Building strong client relationships
- Assisting with mentoring junior staff
What they’re looking for:
- ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or part-qualified / qualified by experience)
- Experience working in accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK tax compliance
- Confident dealing with clients
